With the end of summer and the official start of our season, I just wanted to share some highlights of my Lego Astronaut's summer adventures. Spent the back end of summer exploring the desert before ultimately ending up back in class finally getting to see this year's board. Unfortunately there is a slight delay in getting the actual field set up, but super excited to build the models and get started next week.

Last week was one of the worst yet best weeks of summer so far. Here is what happened. On Monday, everything was going smoothly I was doing what I did every day and even did some chores. However on Tuesday me and my friends went to the park in the afternoon on our scooters to go meet with some other friends. During the way there we made a bet on who can get there the fastest. There were three of us and the deal was that whoever got third place had to buy the drinks and first and second the pizza. I got second and I felt kinda of bad for my friend that got 3rd because his wheels are old and they don’t move as fast as me and my friend does. So when we got to seven eleven my friend bought the sodas and me and my other friend ordered the pizza. When we got to the park, our three other friends were already there waiting for us. The funny thing was that two of them had scooters and one had a skateboard so people though he wasn’t with us. At the park we played a bit of soccer and football until the pizzas came, then we ate and finally we did some tricks on our scooters except the dude in the skateboard however we let him use our scooters. We played some games of scoot and tried new tricks. Then the accident happened. While I was doing a trick, I decided to mix some tricks so I did two tricks in one jump. So when I went for the second trick, which was a bar spin, the moment I spun the bar I landed and my right arm went with the bar but my whole body went the other way. When I got up I felt my arm a bit loose so I decided to sit out the rest. This happens quite often to my friends and I so they thought I was okay but my arm hurt more than usual. We then left and the ride home I had to ride with one arm. The next day my arm was really loose and my shoulder hurt a lot. When I told my mom she got kinda of mad because I already went two times to the hospital already in the last two months. So she took me to the chiropractor instead. The Dr or person massaged my arm and pretty sure popped my shoulder. Then he gave me a shoulder thing to put on and we left. Since then I’ve been doing nothing except watch my phone and tv in my bed every day which for me was the best thing that has ever happened to me. However today my mom said I was on my phone to much so she made me read for three hours. This has pretty much been my week so far. The doctor said to take it easy and do some excersices so everytine im watching my phone I move my phone up and down like if it was weights. Today I went to Corona Del Mar State Beach for a church outing. This outing was for our churches elementary teachers and family as a sort of thank you for serving.  My mom is a 3rd grade teacher for elementary so we got to go.  I didn't go swimming or body boarding due to the enormous seaweed problem.   Whenever the waves would come in a huge amount of seaweed would come with it. So while I was safe and dry on shore I did other fun activities.  My friends and I went crab hunting since we were near the tides.  The tides was near a wall of rocks so we had to be careful where we stepped so we wouldn't slip and fall and hurt our selves. We found maybe over 20 small crabs and 1 huge crab.  The tiny crabs didn't pinch, but the big one did. It did more harm then good.   We collected so many crabs it after awhile looked really gross to look at.  We also saw a large group of leopard sharks.  Most of them were small.  The leopard sharks are the same ones that my dad has in his fish tank.  Most of the time though I just ate, talked, and played volleyball.   I really didn't have a chance to read since all my friends wanted me to play volleyball. Overall it was a pretty nice day.

Today my dad and I took apart and baby grand piano in my house.  We took out everything to make a decoration piece.  It is going to be a book shelf inside the frame of the piano.  Destroying this piano also left room for an other piano(the piano is the one my lego is siting on) my dads college professor gave him.  It was an amazing gift and we are extremely thankful.  A side note is that the piano bookshelf was not an original idea.  I saw it on Pinterest.

So basically I was play this game called league of legends and I finally mastered a champion. To add some context, in this game there are grades that you get on how well you perform on the person that your playing and the grades vary from lowest being a F- and the highest being a S+. As you play the game you get mastery points and these tell other players that you are good on the person that you are playing (a champion). And to get the symbol up there called mastery level seven you would have to get 3 S or higher and that took along time. It is kind of hard to explain it when you don’t play but that’s the basics of it so yeah.

So we decided to go to the beach again and stayed for about 6 hours. After we when to go yeah phỡ and then boba. So yeah that’s all we did.

My vacation has ended since a few days ago(first picture is of us celebrating ice cream day in the hotel room), so I’ve been cooped up inside the house for awhile, just organizing and cleaning and such... But recently I’ve began a new project, working with my mother as well. My aunt(my mother’s sister), is a teacher, and has asked us to help her sort some books she was just given by a retiring teacher, to add to her already thriving collection of stories for her students. All my mom and I have had to do, is use the ARBookfinder search engine to enter each book title, and write the book levels and points inside every book cover. Not too exciting, but definitely something I don’t hate doing... On that note, I will end my post here. Can’t wait to see about the rest of the team’s vacations...

Today I went to go visit my aunt which who I visit all the time. However today was a special day. When we got there, she wasn’t watering her plants like she usually does so that’s when I knew something was wrong. Then we went inside and all my cousins were playing with this new puppy. I’m not really a dog person but this puppy was really cute and super fluffy. Then my aunt told us that they had adopted this dog which got me confused because my aunt isn’t really a dog person either. After that we played with the puppy all day and we even tried to teach it to shake hands. We tried to come up with names too but we’re distracted with its cuteness. The funniest part was when my uncle carried it and the dog peed all over him. Also the picture that I took was really hard to take because the dog just wouldn’t calm down. Anyways, that was pretty much my whole day, just playing with the dog.
