Day 10 - Checking Out Missions

PictureIt's all fun and games until blasting off into space breaks your back. :(
Hello again! Teal astronaut is checking in, and I'm here to update you on our progress. Yesterday we set up our board, which if I may add, looks awesome! Sorry for not keeping up on updating, my bad. Anyways to keep you informed our missing guy is well, still missing. I'm starting to wonder where they went, anyways let's get on with what we did to day.

First we discussed about having a Weekly Agenda. The agenda will help us stay on track so we always know what needs to be finished. I personally think this will be very useful since I normally tend to forget what I need to do and then I only focus on one thing instead of everything. The way we want to use the weekly agenda is by having one of our team members take the role of writing what needs to be done, with agreement of the entire team, and helping remind everyone what needs to be done. Hopefully the weekly agenda helps our team improve with organization and getting work done.

Our new assignment until Tuesday is checking out the FLL board. We were given a sheet with all the missions on it and it is our job to describe how each mission works in our own words. We will be using the missions with out hands since we haven't fully built our first robot. All of the missions are extremely fun to mess around with and if you look at the picture you can see that too much fun can be dangerous. If you look in the back you can see the other half of my body. This is why you should always wear seat-belts. Anyways the other missions are pretty fun but I haven't gotten to try them all yet. When I do I'll make sure to write about it. The point of this assignment is to see how each member sees the mission and to see which missions we believe are easiest and hardest to complete.

Our last thing we our working on is the presentation for the parent meeting. We want to make sure our parents understand how important each meeting is. I hope I don't have to present but not because I'm scared or anything, I just think that there are other astronaut things to do like, keep things organized or eat out of a tube. So I'm going to go do that know, Teal astronaut out!

P.S I'm joking, presenting to our parents is very important.
